Policies, Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 17th June 2026. By registering, accessing, or using RoyalICT.lk, you agree to comply with the following policies.
1. Payment Policy
- RoyalICT accepts payments through approved payment methods available on the website, including debit cards, credit cards, online banking, digital wallets, and other authorized payment gateways.
- All fees displayed on RoyalICT.lk are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless stated otherwise.
- Students will receive access to purchased courses, classes, subscriptions, or digital materials only after successful payment verification.
- RoyalICT reserves the right to modify pricing, promotional offers, and subscription fees at any time without prior notice. Any changes will not affect services that have already been purchased.
- Students are responsible for ensuring accurate payment information is provided during checkout.
- RoyalICT is not responsible for delays caused by: bank processing delays, payment gateway technical issues, internet connectivity issues, or incorrect payment details provided by users.
- Students are advised to keep payment receipts for future reference.
- RoyalICT reserves the right to investigate suspicious or fraudulent transactions and may suspend associated accounts.
2. Refund Policy
- Due to the digital nature of RoyalICT services, payments made for online courses, recorded lessons, downloadable notes, and digital materials are generally non-refundable once access has been granted.
- Refund requests may only be considered under the following circumstances: RoyalICT cancels a class or course, technical issues originating from RoyalICT prevent access to purchased content, or duplicate payments are made accidentally.
- Students must submit refund requests within seven (7) days of the transaction date and provide proof of payment.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days.
- Failure to attend scheduled classes, personal scheduling conflicts, internet issues on the student's side, or lack of participation do not qualify for a refund.
- RoyalICT reserves the right to approve or reject refund requests after investigation.
3. Student Accounts and Registration
- Students must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
- Students may be required to provide: full name, first name, mobile number, email address, school name, grade level, parent or guardian contact information, and profile picture.
- Each student is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Sharing accounts, passwords, or access credentials with others is strictly prohibited.
- Students are responsible for all activities conducted through their accounts.
- RoyalICT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing false information or violating these policies.
4. Student Conduct Policy
- Students are expected to maintain respectful and professional behavior at all times.
- Students must: join classes on time, participate respectfully, follow instructor instructions, complete assigned activities honestly, and use appropriate language.
- Students must not: harass, threaten, or bully others; use offensive or inappropriate language; disrupt classes intentionally; attempt to hack or manipulate the platform; or engage in fraudulent activities.
- Repeated violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
5. Intellectual Property and Copyright Policy
- All content published on RoyalICT.lk remains the exclusive property of RoyalICT.
- This includes, but is not limited to: course videos, live classes, recorded sessions, lecture notes, study materials, quizzes, weekly challenges, presentations, images, and website content.
- Students are strictly prohibited from: recording classes without permission, downloading and redistributing content, uploading RoyalICT materials to social media platforms, sharing materials with non-registered users, or selling or reproducing RoyalICT content.
- Any copyright violation may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
6. Weekly Challenges and Leaderboard Policy
- RoyalICT may organize weekly challenges and leaderboard competitions to encourage student participation.
- Participation may be limited to students enrolled in eligible courses or students granted access by administrators.
- Leaderboard rankings are based solely on the criteria specified by RoyalICT.
- RoyalICT reserves the right to: modify challenge rules, reset leaderboard scores, disqualify students involved in dishonest activities, and remove inappropriate submissions.
- Leaderboard results published by RoyalICT are considered final.
7. SMS Communication Policy
- By registering with RoyalICT, students and parents consent to receive SMS notifications related to educational activities.
- SMS messages may include: class reminders, payment confirmations, weekly challenge announcements, leaderboard results, course updates, system notifications, and emergency announcements.
- RoyalICT will personalize messages using the student's first name where applicable.
- RoyalICT will not intentionally send spam or unrelated promotional messages.
- Students should ensure their mobile numbers remain accurate and updated.
8. Privacy Policy
- RoyalICT is committed to protecting student and parent privacy.
- Information collected may include: full name, first name, mobile number, email address, school name, grade level, parent or guardian information, profile pictures, and payment information.
- This information may be used for: account creation, student identification, course enrollment, payment processing, sending notifications, academic progress tracking, and improving educational services.
- RoyalICT may use trusted third-party service providers for: payment processing, SMS services, analytics services, and cloud hosting services.
- RoyalICT does not sell personal information to third parties.
- Reasonable security measures are implemented to protect all collected information.
9. Child Protection and Parent Consent Policy
- RoyalICT primarily serves school students, including students under the age of 18.
- Parents or legal guardians may be required to provide consent for: student registration, online class participation, payment processing, and communication via SMS or email.
- RoyalICT is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive educational environment.
- Any inappropriate behavior may be investigated and appropriate action may be taken.
10. Attendance and Participation Policy
- Students are responsible for attending scheduled classes and completing assigned activities.
- Students should: join classes punctually, complete quizzes independently, participate actively, and respect teachers and fellow students.
- RoyalICT is not responsible for missed lessons due to: personal circumstances, device issues, internet connectivity problems, or failure to check notifications.
- Repeated absenteeism may impact access to certain features, rewards, or certificates.
11. Technical Requirements
- Students are responsible for maintaining access to appropriate devices and internet connections.
- RoyalICT recommends: a stable internet connection, a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer, updated web browsers, and functional audio equipment when required.
- RoyalICT is not responsible for technical issues arising from student devices or internet providers.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
- RoyalICT reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts without prior notice if a student: shares account credentials, violates platform policies, distributes copyrighted content, uses abusive language, engages in fraudulent activities, or attempts to compromise platform security.
- No refunds will be issued for accounts suspended due to policy violations.
13. Limitation of Liability
- RoyalICT will make every reasonable effort to provide uninterrupted educational services.
- However, RoyalICT shall not be liable for interruptions caused by: internet outages, server maintenance, third-party service failures, natural disasters, power failures, or technical malfunctions beyond RoyalICT's control.
- RoyalICT does not guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
14. Policy Updates
- RoyalICT reserves the right to update, modify, or replace these policies at any time.
- Updated policies will be published on RoyalICT.lk and become effective immediately upon publication.
- Students and parents are encouraged to review these policies periodically.
- Continued use of RoyalICT.lk after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policies.
